Gerald Ford

 Born July 14, 1913 - Died December 26, 2006

Ford assumed the duties of President upon the resignation of Richard Nixon. Ford would become the first and only person to date to have served as President and Vice President without receiving any votes from the electoral college. Ford was appointed Vice President by Nixon when Spiro Agnew resigned.

Ford was initiated into the order on September 30th 1949. He would later say about the fraternity, "When I took my obligation as a master mason—incidentally, with my three younger brothers—I recalled the value my own father attached to that order. But I had no idea that I would ever be added to the company of the Father of our Country and 12 other members of the order who also served as Presidents of the United States."
