William Clark was an American explorer.
Clark was a Virginia native, although he spent most of his early years in the Kentucky Territory.
Before leaving for his journey to the pacific coast, on the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition, Clark served in the United States army.
Clark in his later years served as governor in the Missouri territory.
Clark was a member of Saint Louis Lodge No. 111 located in St. Louis, Missouri.
